Job Title: Microbiologist Consultant

Department: Microbiology

SHORT DESCRIPTION

An Excellent opportunity to join as a Microbiology Consultant for one of the most prestigious and top-tier leading Hospital in Taif Saudi Arabia

JOB SUMMARY

Lead the microbiology department as a consultant overseeing diagnostic testing playing a pivotal role in providing expert guidance on complex cases collaborating with multidisciplinary teams ensuring the delivery of high quality diagnostic care to the patients and driving research to advance the field of microbiology at our esteemed hospital.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide consultative service as requested.
Supervise fellows staff/assistant physicians and residents.
Actively participates in the training and teaching of residents and fellows in his area of expertise and participates in research activities.
Participates in committees and other administrative functions as needed.
Performs special procedures as privileged.
Follows all hospital-related policies and procedures.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Graduate from a medical school of good standing.
Completion of required period of training in Microbiology.
(Arab Jordanian Lebanese) Board certification in the relevant medical Microbiology is typically required or equivalent.
Membership and/or Fellowship or their equivalent and fulfilling the criteria for the consultant as required
A certificate recognized by the Saudi commission is a must.
Dataflow is a must.

Professional Experience

Min. 5 years Post-Board/Fellowship in Microbiology.
A registered member of the Saudi Board Council

Language

Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.

References
