One of Annapurna Labs product lines is the AWS Nitro SoC - a custom system-on-a-chip that delivers high performance virtualization security scalability and hardware acceleration capabilities optimized for AWS cloud infrastructure and services. It helps power the latest EC2 instance types from AWS.

2023 re:Invent 2025 - Deep Dive into the AWS Nitro System (CMP316) apply: submit your CV together with your university transcript. Without both a CV and grades the application will not be considered.
Key job responsibilities
The Nitro core software team supplies the first software envelope that drives the Nitro SoC and its surroundings. As part of this team you will get the chance to design develop test and deploy changes to the Nitro software that contribute to the operational excellence of one of the key hardware interfaces of the Nitro SoC - PCI express. Students that join the team would have the opportunity to work directly with custom hardware and firmware gaining experience in systems engineering and computer architecture solve challenging technical problems while learning from senior engineers who are experts in their field.

- Proficiency coding in C
