Location: Riyadh Saudi Arabia
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly driven and visionary Director of Datacenter Growth and Operations to lead and scale a rapidly expanding Data Center and Digital Infrastructure platform in Saudi Arabia.
This is a senior leadership role for an individual who wants to shape strategy build highperforming teams and drive the operational and commercial success of missioncritical facilities across one of the worlds fastestgrowing digital infrastructure markets.
You will take full ownership of growth operational excellence client relationships and financial performancepositioning the business as a market leader supporting hyperscalers colocation providers and enterprise data center operators across the Kingdom.
What Youll Be Responsible For
Strategic Growth & Market Leadership
- Define and execute a clear growth strategy for data centers and digital infrastructure services across Saudi Arabia.
- Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities including hyperscale colocation cloud and critical digital infrastructure projects.
- Lead highvalue tenders proposals and strategic pitches shaping commercial models that win longterm partnerships.
- Build trusted relationships with Csuite clients technology partners and key government stakeholders.
- Act as a visible industry leader by representing the business at regional and international data center forums and events.
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies regulatory developments and industry standards translating insight into competitive advantage.
Operational Excellence
- Provide executive oversight of daytoday operations across multiple missioncritical environments.
- Set and maintain worldclass operational standards aligned with industry best practice (Uptime Institute ISO BICSI etc.).
- Ensure resilient operation of critical systems including power cooling UPS security and lifesafety systems.
- Lead business continuity risk management and disaster recovery planning for highavailability environments.
- Own full P&L responsibility including budgeting forecasting cost optimization and profitability.
- Drive continuous improvement through performance metrics audits and innovation.
Leadership & Team Building
- Build inspire and retain a highperforming multidisciplinary team of engineers technicians and operational leaders.
- Create a culture of accountability collaboration and continuous learning.
- Develop future leaders through coaching structured development plans and succession planning.
- Ensure teams are equipped with the right tools training and resources to operate at the highest standards.
Client Partnership & Service Excellence
- Serve as the senior relationship owner for key accounts.
- Proactively manage performance expectations and service delivery in missioncritical environments.
- Lead executivelevel client reviews presenting insights performance outcomes and improvement initiatives.
- Resolve highlevel escalations with confidence and professionalism.
What Were Looking For
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline (Masters degree preferred).
- 10 years experience in facilities management or critical infrastructure environments.
- 5 years direct experience in data centers and/or digital infrastructure operations.
- Proven track record leading large technically complex teams and operations at scale.
Technical Expertise
- Strong knowledge of:
- Data center power and cooling systems
- UPS generators and electrical distribution
- Fire detection and suppression
- Physical security and monitoring systems
- Working experience with Uptime Institute Tier Standards ISO frameworks BMS and CMMS platforms.
- Commercially astute with strong financial and contractual understanding.
