For specific allocated projects in coordination with the Structures Team Lead (Cairo) manage plan and carry out;

Complex structural engineering analysis design and drawings specifications and bills of quantities using appropriate analysis and design and drawing software to the required quality project timeline and design budget

Obtain all data and follow up with project managers Structures Team Lead (Cairo) other company staff other consultants and contractors so that analysis design and production of drawings specifications and bills of quantities are completed in an accurate timely manner to the required quality

Establish and build professional relationships with other staff other Consultants contractors.

Understand the project brief

Assist Structures Team Lead (Cairo) other Engineering Designers with the preparation and implementation of the Project structural engineering designs in coordination with the assigned project team

Participate in and contribute to value engineering exercises

Coordinate with internal disciplines and teams within ECEC and with 3rd parties in relation to technical financial safety quality schedule and other elements of a project so that accurate structural designs and structural engineering drawings specifications and bills of quantities are produced.

Specifically the Structures Engineer is responsible for:

1. Implementing and updating specific and overall project structural engineering designs drawings specifications and bills of quantities for multiple complex design projects and construction projects.

2. Assists the Structures Team Lead (Cairo) on matters that cross between interfacing elements projects.

3. Work proactively constructively and fairly with all parties to ensure the successful execution of duties

4. Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as directed and as may be appropriate.

Requirements

Minimum 5 to 10 years (depending on the seniority of the position) of related work experience working for design consultants on large scale complex design projects is essential

Previous Middle East experience preparing designs and

Strong experience drafting using Revit and AutoCAD is required.

Bachelors Degree in structural engineering

Position Structures Engineer Date 21 April 2025

Reports to Structures Team Lead (Cairo) Base Office/Country ECEC Cairo Egypt.

Registration with a recognized Professional Institution of Engineers (licensed to practice structural engineering design)

Specific training & qualifications in structural engineering analysis and design including use of specific software.
