Job Summary
The Outdoor Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales and business growth within the assigned territory by promoting our comprehensive portfolio of HVAC spares securing maintenance contracts and identifying project opportunities. The ideal candidate is a proactive hunter with strong technical acumen excellent relationship-building skills and a proven track record in B2B sales within the HVAC industry.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Sales:
• Actively prospect identify qualify and generate new sales leads through cold calling site visits networking and following up on inbound inquiries.
• Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets for spares maintenance contracts (AMCs) and projects.
• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline using CRM software.
• Prepare and present compelling technical and commercial proposals quotations and tenders.
• Negotiate contracts and close deals to secure new business.
2. Client Relationship Management:
• Build and nurture strong long-term relationships with key decision-makers including facility managers project managers MEP consultants and building owners.
• Conduct regular client visits to understand their needs provide technical support and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients addressing their inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
3. Product & Market Expertise:
• Develop deep knowledge of the company’s HVAC products spare parts and service offerings.
• Stay updated on industry trends competitor activities and market conditions within the region.
• Educate clients on the value and benefits of our products and services.
4. Technical Support & Solution Selling:
• Understand clients' technical requirements and HVAC system challenges.
• Collaborate with the internal technical and engineering teams to design tailored solutions for spares maintenance schedules and retrofit projects.
• Conduct site surveys to assess customer needs and propose appropriate solutions.
5. Reporting & Administration:
• Maintain accurate and timely records of all sales activities customer interactions and transactions in the CRM system.
• Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to the Sales Manager.
• Manage the sales cycle from lead generation to payment collection.
Qualifications and Skills
Essential:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering or a related field. A diploma with relevant experience will also be considered.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in outdoor sales specifically in the HVAC industry with a focus on spares projects and maintenance contracts (AMCs).
• Strong existing network and relationships with potential clients (e.g. factories hospitals commercial buildings hotels MEP contractors) in the region is a significant advantage.
• Excellent communication presentation and negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated target-oriented and capable of working independently.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word Excel PowerPoint) and CRM software.
Desirable:
• Technical knowledge of HVAC systems components and refrigeration cycles.
• Experience in preparing technical and commercial bids.
• Understanding of tender processes.
