About Calo
Calo is an app providing personalized meal plans for busy people through nutritional algorithms built with love by chefs nutritionists and software engineers.

Launched in Bahrain in 2019 we have since expanded to 7 countries in the region delivered millions of meals to our customers and launched our very own Grab & Go Cafe concepts.

Were on a noble mission to make healthy easy. We think this is one of the most important problems to tackle in our world today. We have global ambitions - no small thinking here.

Role Overview
Were looking for a part-time Graphic Designer to create engaging on-brand visuals in a fast-paced growing start-up environment. As part of our dynamic marketing team youll work on a variety of campaigns and content that directly support Calos growth.

The ideal candidate is creative adaptable and detail-oriented able to move quickly from concept to execution while managing a part-time schedule. Youll be responsible for conducting research staying on top of design trends and delivering visual solutions that align with Calos marketing strategy and business goals

Main Responsibilities

Design assets across channels: social media email digital ads landing pages and packaging
Translate marketing briefs into visual campaigns that are on-brand high-converting and beautifully crafted
Collaborate with copywriters and marketers to develop creative concepts
Contribute to evolving the brands visual language in partnership with the Design and Marketing team
Prepare and deliver production-ready design files (static and animated if applicable)
Ensure visual consistency across all channels and campaigns
Support product and content teams with UI visuals presentations or branded templates

Ideal Candidate

Qualifications

26 years of experience in graphic design (agency or in-house).
Strong portfolio showcasing diverse design styles marketing materials and campaigns.
Bonus: Experience with food wellness or lifestyle brands.

Knowledge & Competency

Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop Illustrator InDesign)
Bonus: Familiarity with Figma After Effects and Canva
Excellent sense of typography layout color and visual storytelling
Comfortable working within brand guidelines while thoughtfully pushing boundaries
Well organized with strong attention to detail and file naming/workflow hygiene

Personality

Proactive and resourceful taking the initiative to solve problems
Customer-first mindset always considering the users perspective
Adaptable and collaborative thriving in a team environment
Results-driven with strong attention to quality and detail
