Duties and Responsibilities:
Comply with Primepower servicing schedules and procedures
Ensure all equipment is prepared for hire in compliance with Primepower ‘Green Card’ procedure
Ensure all work performed reports are approved by client (on site) and are legibly produced
Ensure immediate response and minimal disruption to client’s requirements
Ensure good housekeeping of work area and service vehicle
Maintain a minimum spares level in service vehicle as per procedures
Effective troubleshooting to minimise downtime and unnecessary repair costs
Customer satisfaction externally & internally
Compliance to QHSE & ISO Standards and Procedures
Compliance with 24 hour call – out policy

requirement and moral obligation of each employee to be actively committed and accountable for
compliance to the Primepower Health Safety & Environmental policies operating procedures and
compliance to local legislation
Any other tasks duties & responsibilities that may be added from time to time as relevant to business
requirements
Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience relevant role or related field
Dealer experience (Cummins and Caterpillar)
Previous experience in the rental industry
Prior experience working with diesel generator power plants
Education & Qualifications
College Degree in in a Mechanical or Industrial Training Institute qualifications
Grade 10 or 12 clarification
Previous Experience with Cummins/Iveco/Scania Diesel Generator engines
Must hold an official Mechanical trade qualification from a recognized organization
Demonstrated track record in rebuilding Cummins engines including KTA50 KTA38 KSQ23 QSX15 QSG12
NTA855 QSL9 6BTA and 4BT
