Position: Accountant

Company Overview:

With over 20 years of experience in the industry we continue to grow and expand our business and we are looking for a talented Cost Accountant to join our team.

Position Overview:

As a Cost Accountant at Kasrawy Group you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial success of our company. You will be responsible for analyzing and reporting on the cost of our products and services identifying areas for cost reduction and developing strategies to improve profitability. This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor and analyze the cost of goods sold including raw materials labor and overhead expenses

- Prepare and review monthly quarterly and annual cost reports

- Identify and investigate variances in cost and provide explanations and recommendations for improvement

- Work closely with the production team to develop and maintain accurate product costs

- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities related to cost of goods sold

- Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements

- Conduct regular inventory reconciliations and provide analysis of inventory levels

- Prepare and review cost estimates for new products and services

- Collaborate with other departments to improve overall cost efficiency and profitability

- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies and procedures

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to cost accounting

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cost accounting preferably in the food manufacturing industry

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
