We are seeking an experienced Head Chef specialising in authentic Japanese cuisine to lead kitchen operations for a standalone fine-dining restaurant in Kuwait. This role requires a hands-on culinary leader with strong expertise in Japanese food R&D and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all kitchen operations ensuring high standards of food quality and consistency

Develop and execute authentic Japanese menus including fine-dining concepts

Oversee R&D menu innovation and seasonal offerings

Manage kitchen team performance training and daily operations
-
Ensure compliance with hygiene safety and quality standards
Requirements

Japanese national (mandatory)
-
Proven experience working as a Head Chef

Strong background in Japanese fine-dining cuisine
-
Experience in standalone restaurants with involvement in both R&D and operations
-
Previous GCC experience is required
-
Restaurant-only background (no hotel experience)
