The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting and managing IT infrastructure with a focus on optimizing performance and ensuring reliability. This role requires a proactive and energetic individual who is eager to learn new things and can effectively collaborate with various teams and IT Infrastructure & Technology Manager to deliver highquality infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities

Support the design implementation and management of IT infrastructure systems including onpremises servers Storages networks and cloud services.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation of infrastructure components meeting departmental service levels.
Manage and configure firewalls switches and routers to maintain network security and efficiency.
Collaborate with vendors and crossfunctional teams to identify and address infrastructure needs and challenges.
Assist in planning and executing infrastructure upgrades and migrations with minimal disruption to services.
Maintain documentation for infrastructure configurations processes and procedures.
Provide technical support and guidance to team members and other departments/Projects.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to recommend improvements to infrastructure systems.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Network Engineering Information Technology or a related field.
35 years of experience in supporting infrastructure including switches firewalls and cloud infrastructure security.
Must be a Bahraini citizen.

Skills

Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of server and network configurations virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware HyperV) and storage solutions.
Networking Skills: Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP DNS DHCP) and experience with firewalls VPNs and network security.
Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud) and experience in managing cloud infrastructure.
Monitoring and Diagnostic Tools: Experience with system monitoring tools (e.g. Nagios SolarWinds) to ensure uptime and performance.
Scripting and Automation: Basic knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell Python) for automation tasks.
ProblemSolving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve infrastructurerelated issues efficiently.
Documentation Skills: Ability to create and maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of infrastructure configurations and processes.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical information to nontechnical stakeholders.
Proactive and Energetic: A proactive approach to work with the energy and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies.
