DescriptionAs a Production Specialist you will assist the Flow Control Business Unit in manufacturing products to meet specifications procedures and certification requirements on the assembly line including assembly and testing of valves and instruments. The role also involves periodic maintenance supporting problem-solving and daily production reporting. You will coordinate closely with Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor and Material Warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery.
In this role your responsibilities will be:
- Perform hands-on assembly testing and calibration of control valves actuators instruments and accessories per Emerson standards and customer specifications.
- Execute orders ensuring smooth production flow with Manufacturing Planning Quality Engineering and Stores.
- Carry out advanced calibration and testing including Series-3 hydrostatic leak functional and HP bunker testing.
- Complete accurate Valve Test Records (VTR) and quality documentation in line with Quality Assurance (QA) procedures.
- Support special assembly calibration and testing processes including non-standard configurations and buyout actuators.
- Assist during customer inspections Factory and final acceptance testing as required.
- Monitor production Key Performance Indicators support casualty closure Root Cause Analysis activities and preventive maintenance for tools and equipment.
- Apply valve manufacturing knowledge to ensure first-time-right assembly and resolve production or testing issues.
- Support lean manufacturing 5S compliance workplace organization and factory automation/digitalization initiatives.
- Provide daily production updates and adhere to Emerson HSE standards.

- Educational degree in Mechanical Instrumentation or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication skills to support cross-functional activities and customer inspections.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience in Emerson Manufacturing Hub or a similar valve environment.
- Expertise in Valve Link software diagnostics and troubleshooting of various valve types and actuators.
