Role Summary:

Responsible for logistics and supply chain operations for the export of gypsum and chromite. Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products to international clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate with mining companies to ensure they have sufficient stock of required specs before accepting a ship and coordinating with mining companies to ensure it reaches the port stockyard before the ship arrives.
Coordinate with Port to ensure the ship is nominated correctly with the laycan and update port on ETA of ship.
Coordinate with shipping agent nominated by the ship owners to track the ship and provide cargo declaration and proforma invoice and get the pre-stowage plan from the ship master.
Coordinate with CHA/customs clearing agent to ensure export permit application is submitted to Ministry of Energy and Minerals for the shipment and required fees are paid and bayan is received to enable shipment.
Input through customer login all the required information in the port portal to ensure the shipment is approved by the port and once approval received inform MTC finance to make the payment to the port for the shipment and share the TT copy with port and receive the work order from port.
Ensure customer approved draft surveyor/ quality check agency is deployed for the shipment and does draft survey and collects samples to provide quantity loaded and quality report.
Coordinate with mining company to ensure they provide sufficient stock at berth for ship to get loaded.
Track ship loading and keep updating customer on the same.
Monitor inventory levels and lead stockpiles at various locations.
Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and documentation requirements.
Resolve any logistical issues that may arise during the transportation process.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree.
Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management preferably in the mining or commodities sector.
Proficiency in logistics software and tools
