Key Responsibilities
ACS System Design & Consultancy
- Lead the conceptual schematic and detailed design of enterprise ACS solutions for large scale multi-venue environments.
- Develop technical solution guidelines system architectures technology selection and design verification strategies.
- Conduct business requirements analysis site surveys risk assessments and feasibility studies.
- Oversee detailed solution designs including floor plans device layouts wiring diagrams network topologies and integration schematics.
- Define access hierarchies zone-based access logic visitor management workflows and dynamic event-based access scenarios.
- Ensure solutions comply with applicable industry standards best practices and local regulatory requirements.
- Design future-proof scalable and interoperable ACS architectures.
- Oversee installation configuration testing and commissioning of ACS hardware and software.
- Develop transition and migration plans for upgrading legacy systems to new ACS solutions.
- Define and manage integration strategies with:
- CCTV and video surveillance systems
- Gate barriers and toll gates o ANPR systems for staff VIP and service vehicles
- Turnstiles and credentialing systems o Alarm intrusion detection fire safety and Building Management Systems (BMS)
- AI platforms dashboards and analytics tools
- Validate access control logic credential workflows and system interoperability through testing and operational simulations.
- Lead ACS projects end-to-end from design through commissioning.
- Manage schedules resources budgets risks milestones and deliverables.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including contractors system integrators IT teams and venue operations.
- Interface with internal stakeholders vendors and external partners.
- Prepare commissioning documentation risk assessments quality assurance reports and handover packages.
- Support vendor evaluation procurement and quality control of ACS components.
- Develop health check performance monitoring and system optimization guidelines.
- Define preventive maintenance strategies and lifecycle management plans.
- Deliver training and consultancy to security and IT teams on ACS operations and best practices.
- Recommend system enhancements upgrades and design improvements to improve reliability performance and scalability.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of experience in ACS system design consultancy and integration.
- Proven track record delivering ACS solutions for large complex multi-function venues.
- Strong experience integrating ACS with CCTV gate barriers toll gates ANPR turnstiles BMS and related systems.
- Demonstrated project management experience in multidisciplinary physical security deployments. Education
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering Security Technology or Information Systems.
- Advanced coursework in Security Systems Design is preferred.
- PSP Physical Security Professional (ASIS)
- CPP Certified Protection Professional (ASIS)
- CPSM Certified Physical Security Manager
- LenelS2 Certified Professional (LCP / LCE)
- Genetec Certified Technical Professional (GCTP)
- Gallagher Command Centre Advanced Certification
- Honeywell Pro-Watch Certified Engineer
- HID Global PACS / Mobile Access Certification
- Hands-on expertise with LenelS2 Genetec Gallagher Honeywell Avigilon and HID Global.
- Strong knowledge of communication protocols: OSDP Wiegand RS-485 TCP/IP PoE.
- In-depth understanding of credential technologies: MIFARE DESFire EV3 HID Seos biometrics and mobile credentials.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural electrical and low-voltage drawings.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Visio for ACS layouts and technical documentation.
- English: Required (Proficient)
- Arabic: Preferred

Required Education:
ExperienceMinimum 10 years of experience in ACS system design consultancy and track record delivering ACS solutions for large complex multi-function experience integrating ACS with CCTV gate barriers toll gates ANPR turnstiles BMS and related project management experience in multidisciplinary physical security deployments. EducationBachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering Security Technology
