Job Title: Accountant

Location: Qatar
Experience: 5–7 Years
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to manage Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable Payroll and General Accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles hands-on experience with financial reporting and familiarity with Qatar labor and tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable (AP):

Process supplier invoices verify accuracy and ensure timely payments
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
Maintain proper documentation and approvals

Accounts Receivable (AR):

Generate customer invoices and follow up on outstanding receivables
Perform customer account reconciliations
Monitor credit limits and aging reports

Payroll:

Prepare and process monthly payroll in compliance with Qatar Labor Law
Manage employee deductions allowances end-of-service benefits and leave settlements
Coordinate with HR for payroll inputs and employee records

General Accounting:

Maintain general ledger and perform month-end and year-end closing
Prepare financial statements and management reports
Handle bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring
Assist in budgeting forecasting and audits
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements

Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting Finance or Commerce
5–7 years of relevant accounting experience preferably in Qatar or GCC
Strong hands-on experience in AP AR Payroll and General Accounting
Knowledge of Qatar labor laws and financial regulations
Proficiency in accounting software (ERP systems Tally SAP Oracle or similar)
Advanced skills in MS Excel
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

Preferred Skills

Experience in GCC-based companies
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Good communication and coordination skills
