ملخص الوظيفة
As a Backend Engineer youll be working on the platform that powers all apps at Wix. Our platform serves a dual purpose: as infrastructure for all of Wix and as a product for external applications. Given its unique position our platform is a key enabler for many of Wixs highest priority efforts and new features.
In your day-to-day you will:
- Focus on building scalable and high-performance systems
- Design and develop with open platform principles in mind
- Ensure extensibility of the platform to support future needs
- Write clean and maintainable code
- Collaborate with other teams at Wix clearly and professionally
*At Wix our work model is hybrid with 4 days a week from our North Tel Aviv Campus and 1 day of remote work from home; please make sure this fits your preferences before moving forward.
Qualifications :
- 3 years of experience in backend engineering
- Proficiency with an object-oriented programming language
- Experience with Kafka or equivalent and microservices -an advantage
- Experience and comfort working with AI - an advantage
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Enabler mindset with a can- do attitude

Sitting at the intersection of infrastructure and product our platform serves as both a critical backbone for Wix and a product for external applications.
