Plant Automation Oversight
- Manages the engineering interfaces design information to ensure compliance with the Technical Specification and Performance criteria during operation of the plant
- Ensure adequate inspections and tests are performed and the results are properly documented to ensure safe reliable and correct operation (Factory Acceptance Tests Site Acceptance Tests etc.)
- Identification and management of project risks
Optimization of electrical maintenance activities
Policy and Standards Compliance
- Continually improve safety record by addressing both physical safety issues and employee safety attitudes.
- Keep the plant clean and enforce HSE standards to protect personnel and equipment
- Maintain and improve housekeeping in all areas
Comprehensiveness and quality of work standards and policies
The number of injuries as a result of work related incidents e.g. site accidents machinery accidents serious falls etc.
Reporting and Manuals
- Prepare the technical reports and operating manuals requested by his supervisor
Timeliness and quality of reports
Employee Relations
- Ensure that all employees pursue the HSE training
- Proactively pursue personal training opportunities to deepen subject matter expertise and managerial skills
- Assure that employee grievances are addressed in a timely fashion
