JOB TITLE: Risk Data Scientist
TERM: 6 months
CLIENT LOCATION: SNB Jeddah head office AlBaghdadiyah AlGharbiyah Jeddah 22233 Saudi Arabia
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: 3 years (with valid Saudi Iqama)
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in SAS programming language (SAS 9.4/ any other programming language Python/ R
- Prior model development experience Logistic regression Decision Tree XGBoost Random Forest is a plus

Risk Data Scientist
TASKS
Core Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Nontechnical
- Strong communication skills and ability to present findings to client stakeholders
- Experience in Financial Services Banking & card payments Industry is a plus
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand business requirements
- Document all steps in the development process
Technical
- Experience in SAS programming language (SAS 9.4/ any other programming language Python/ R
- Prior predictive model development experience Logistic regression Decision Tree XGBoost Random Forest is a plus
- Extract data from client source systems data quality checks for model development
- Identify opportunities to innovatively use data/ extract insights from complex data sets
- Identify credit policy recommendations analyzing complex data sets

- Collaboration Effectiveness The effectiveness of collaboration with crossfunctional teams measured via model accuracy stability and time to deploy.
- Data Security Compliance Compliance with data security protocols and regulations.
Knowledge & Experience:
- 3years in a similar role ideally with financial services
- Valid Iqama in Saudi is a must
- Good knowledge of data wrangling SQL SAS Python R
- Proficiency in SAS programming language (SAS 9.4/ Python/ R
- Prior model development experience Logistic regression Decision Tree XGBoost Random Forest is a plus
- Strong communication skills and ability to present findings to senior stakeholders (non technical)
