Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Controls professional with extensive exposure to Oil & Gas EPC/EPIC projects in Qatar. The role requires strong leadership capability in-depth knowledge of project controls best practices and hands-on experience across the full project lifecycle to ensure effective planning monitoring and delivery of complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage project controls functions including planning scheduling cost control progress measurement and reporting.
Develop maintain and control integrated EPC/EPIC project schedules in line with approved baselines.
Implement and monitor project controls best practices standards and procedures.
Perform schedule analysis critical path analysis earned value management (EVM) and forecasting.
Identify project risks delays and variances; develop mitigation and recovery plans.
Prepare and present project progress reports dashboards and KPIs to senior management and clients.
Support change management claims and EOT submissions with proper analysis and documentation.
Lead mentor and manage project controls and planning teams.
Coordinate with engineering procurement construction and commissioning teams to ensure alignment.
Ensure compliance with client contractual and regulatory requirements.

Qualification & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Project Management or a related discipline (Master’s degree is an advantage).
Minimum 15 years of experience in Oil & Gas projects with proven exposure to EPC / EPIC environments.
Strong hands-on experience in project controls principles tools and best practices.
Proven leadership and team management experience in a multi-disciplinary environment.
Experience working in Qatar or GCC Oil & Gas projects is preferred.
Valid Qatar ID (QID) is mandatory.

Key Skills & Competencies

Advanced knowledge of planning & scheduling tools (Primavera P6 MS Project etc.)
Strong understanding of EVM risk management and performance reporting
Excellent analytical communication and presentation skills
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work under pressure
Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability
