Your Tasks

You will be responsible for:

  • Building and developing business relationships with HCPs / Pharmacies to understand AND address doctor and patient needs.
  • To impart knowledge (detailing) to HCPs / Pharmacies in order to generate recommendations for Eucerin.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Detailing

  • The incumbent is responsible for detailing the Eucerin range to educate doctors through informative dialogue: Effectively communicating the benefits of recommending Eucerin as a monotherapy or adjunct therapy in dermatological conditions. He/she has to provide a high level of knowledge (both product and disease state) to ensure doctor confidence in recommending product. He/she needs to manage the distribution of the relevant POS samples and other marketing materials to doctors.
  • Where applicable the incumbent will be responsible for negotiating Eucerin to be retailed from the Doctors office. It will be requiring to set up a Eucerin cabinet and assist to set up ordering process in medical practice for in order to drive visibility distribution awareness and sales of Eucerin.

2. Pharmacy Training

  • The incumbent is responsible for ongoing pharmacy front shop & pharmacist education to generate recommendations for Eucerin in the pharmacy. He/she will also be training large groups as organized by head office.

3. Congress and Events CME

  • The incumbent is responsible for attending relevant congresses and arranging own local events to further develop medical practitioner and pharmacy relations and recommendations

4. Planning

  • Incumbent is responsible for Territory Management (call & route planning) at most efficient time/ cost benefit and maintaining their data base of targeted clients (e.g. new Derm offices opening)

5. Other

  • Customer (Doctor) related queries & issues internal and external It is the responsibility of the incumbent to respond to any queries or issues relating to his or her customer account (s).
  • Meetings internal It is the responsibility of the incumbent to attend internal meetings and to input where necessary to help support other BDF functions.
  • Database Management it is the responsibility of the incumbent to update/manage and analyze the Doctors Database.
  • PIs it is the responsibility of the incumbent (where relevant) to ensure that PIs are introduced to customers appropriately to ensure that pricing is accepted and facilitated in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Filing it is the responsibility of the incumbent to ensure that all information relating to their accounts is clearly filed electronically on the BDF Shared drive or in the paper files for the relevant customer. All files must be kept up to date.
  • Competitor activity it is the responsibility of the incumbent to regularly feedback competitor activities in the doctors office.

Key Requirements:

  • Calls on develops and manages strong relationships with HCPs & Pharmacists.
  • Maintains superior levels of product market and formulary information and translates product features into benefits that meet the specific customers needs.
  • Builds and maintains favorable strong relationships with key opinion leaders to enhance the professionalism of the company and transfer the message of the brands.
  • Expert on the portfolio indications related to the Companys products and the brands.
  • Participating in all annual and mandatory internal training requirements.
  • Marketing all products and driving sales through the pharmacy/dispensing points.
  • Consult and training on the Companys range of products and related medical conditions

Your Profile

  • A tertiary qualification in Life Sciences Sales Marketing or Business
  • Minimum 2 years sales experience in the pharmaceutical/dermacosmetic industry in KSA.
  • Strong sales performance track record.
  • Proficiency in English & Arabic (written & spoken).
  • Great presentation and communication skills.
  • Excellent planning organizational and problem-solving skills.
