Responsible for leading and managing the design phase of engineering projects ensuring the successful delivery of highquality designs that meet client requirements and industry standards. This role involves overseeing a team of design engineers and collaborating with clients project managers and other stakeholders to achieve project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with clients and project managers to understand project requirements scope and objectives.

Develop project design plans timelines and resource allocation to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.

Coordinate with crossfunctional teams to integrate design requirements with other project aspects.

Lead and mentor a team of design engineers providing guidance and support throughout the design process.

Conduct regular team meetings to review project progress address challenges and ensure alignment with project goals.

Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment to enhance team performance.

Oversee the conceptualization and development of engineering designs ensuring they meet project specifications and standards.

Review and approve design documentation including drawings specifications and technical reports.

Coordinate with specialists and subject matter experts to incorporate specialized knowledge into the design process.

Implement and enforce quality assurance processes to ensure designs adhere to industry standards and client requirements.

Conduct thorough design reviews and audits to identify and address potential issues or improvements.

Work closely with the quality control team to ensure the final deliverables meet established quality benchmarks.

Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the design phase addressing their concerns and ensuring their feedback is incorporated into the design process.

Provide regular updates on project progress milestones and any potential deviations from the original plan.

Collaborate with clients to identify opportunities for design optimization and innovation.

Monitor and manage the design phase budget ensuring resources are allocated efficiently.

Work with the project manager to identify and address any budget or resource constraints promptly.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Engineering or a related field.

Proven experience in engineering design with a focus on project management.

Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and oversee complex projects.

Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting abilities.

Familiarity with regulatory compliance and industry standards.

Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal.
