Foreground is partnering with a leading construction group in Qatar to identify a Procurement Manager who will oversee the sourcing and supply of materials and services for large-scale infrastructure and building projects. This role requires strong vendor management cost optimization and contract negotiation expertise ensuring procurement aligns with project delivery timelines and budget controls.

Responsibilities

Lead the procurement function managing end-to-end sourcing vendor prequalification and contract execution.
Develop procurement strategies that ensure material availability cost competitiveness and quality compliance.
Negotiate terms with suppliers and subcontractors to optimize value and reduce risk exposure.
Monitor supply chain performance resolving bottlenecks to ensure timely delivery.
Establish and maintain supplier performance evaluation and reporting systems.
Collaborate with project managers engineers and finance teams on procurement forecasts.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Business Administration or Engineering; MBA preferred.
10 years of procurement experience in the construction sector.
Strong negotiation contract management and vendor development skills.
Knowledge of local and international procurement standards.
Fluency in English required Arabic preferred.
