Thales has been selected to supply major electronic systems for air defence and the Group also supplied communication and optronic systems for the Army the Saudi Arabia National Guards and the Air Force.

JOB OBJECTIVE:

We are currently looking for a highly motivated individual to join the Thales Team in Jeddah as Project Controller. They will support the Protective Systems (PRS) Business Finance Manager in delivering highlevel quality of service in order to manage and control critical contract with various leading customers in accordance with general accounting / finance rules and Thales policies.

This role represents an excellent learning and growth opportunity for a finance professionals interested in working in a dynamic international environment.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Scope of work:

Be part of the Financial Controlling team and partnering with project managers and department heads to delivery reliable financial accounting information and business support:

Manage the financial activities of Security contracts.
Complete financial dashboards and cost control activities for Projects Attend project reviews and EAC/ETC review Complete financial requirements of ongoing projects.
Ensure cash collections and invoicing cycle is optimized.
Perform monthly profit & loss closing activities by validating SAP closing data from projects sales cost of sales contract variances
Proactively take on administrative task for project such as timesheets
Tracking of the main project risks and opportunities
Participation in projects forecasts and budgets

Provide support for internal and external audits as needed.

Ad hoc deliverables occurring on finance requirements.

Assist in the implementation of IT tools and reporting techniques.

Interface with Financial Shared Services including regular service reviews and quality of accounting information.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

At least 5 years of experience with accounting in a commercial
environment.
3 or more years of experience with Microsoft office product

QUALIFICATION CERTIFICATION & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor degree in Accounting or Business Administration / Economics .

Hands on with a willingness to learn and develop
Excellent team working skills with peers and cross functional teams
Ambition to develop to new roles in 23 years
Fluent in English and Arabic
