ملخص الوظيفة
Responsibilities
Carry out preheating and post-weld heat treatment (PWHT) of piping structural components and ship hull sections.
Set up calibrate and operate PWHT equipment such as resistance heating machines induction heaters furnaces thermocouples and temperature recorders.
Install and monitor thermocouples on weld joints to ensure accurate heating cycles.
Perform controlled heating and cooling cycles as per WPS (Welding Procedure Specification) and client requirements.
Record and maintain PWHT temperature charts/logs for QA/QC documentation.
Work with welding engineers inspectors and supervisors to ensure compliance with ASME AWS and shipyard standards.
