Laundry Ironer Mvenpick Resort & Residences Aqaba
The Ironer all relevant activities in the field of Laundry and to maintain all guest and employees linens clean tidy cleanliness of the Machines as well as other areas assigned to him/her to provide efficient personalized courteous and punctual service and to work with a team spirit to ensure that each guest leaves the Resort fully satisfied. This should be proceeded always with due regard to and maintenance of our operational policies and standards international and domestic.
In performing these duties he/she shall always maintain good relations with his/her supervisor the Department Heads and supervisors as well as with the local authorities and other key persons.
SCOPE
To follow all the instructions of the supervisor and make sure that every effort is made to ensure guest satisfaction and maintain a high standard of service
- Under the general direction of the Laundry Manager or delegate and within the limits of established Mvenpick Resort & Residences Aqaba. And hotels policies and procedures responsible for pressing of all hotel and guest linen.
- Always Ensure the highest standard of Customer Care and Service.
- Promote the desired work culture around our Winning Ways; do the right thing show we care aim higher Celebrate difference and Work better together.
- Check equipment
- Be Smart wellgroomed and maintain a friendly and cheerful disposition all the times
- Oversee the daytoday operations
- Report regularly on happening to his/her supervisor.
- Sorts hotel and guest linen for pressing
- Ensures proper temperature and pressure required as per the texture of the textile
- Ensures timely pressing of all items
- Ensures machines and areas are kept in proper working order
- Ensures all garments being pressed are in proper condition else inform the supervisor for suitable action to be taken
Qualifications :
- Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed
Additional Information :
- Internal: Works in harmony with all hotel employees applies rules and provides best service within the limit of the established job specification
- External: All guests suppliers/partners.
- Materials: All machinery and equipment at Front Office
