Job description
Woodston Personnel are seeking an experienced and dedicated Consultant Rheumatologist to join our clients multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will provide expert diagnosis and management of rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases deliver high-quality patient-centred care and contribute to service development teaching and clinical governance activities.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Diagnose and manage a wide range of rheumatological conditions including inflammatory arthritis connective tissue diseases vasculitis and metabolic bone disorders.
Develop and manage long-term treatment plans including biologic and advanced therapies.
Participate in multidisciplinary clinics and case discussions.
Provide advice and support to other specialties regarding rheumatological conditions.
Participate in on-call or referral rotas as required.
Ensure safe evidence-based and compassionate care in line with national and international guidelines.
Monitor treatment efficacy and adverse effects ensuring appropriate follow-up.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Provide clinical leadership within the rheumatology service.
Participate in clinical audit quality improvement and risk management activities.
Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and care pathways.
Support compliance with regulatory clinical governance and accreditation standards.
Supervise and teach junior doctors trainees and medical students.
Participate in continuing professional development (CPD) and appraisal processes.
Contribute to teaching programmes for allied health professionals.
Participate in or support clinical research and service evaluation where appropriate.
Work closely with specialist nurses physiotherapists occupational therapists pharmacists and other allied health professionals.
Communicate effectively with patients and their families supporting shared decision-making.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and patient education initiatives.
Full time contracts with excellent renumeration and benefits available

MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
US Board/ FRCS - Irish UK Canadian New Zealand or Australian/ Diploma dEtudes Specialises (DES)/ CIS French Board/ Fachart & Sub- Board/ Fellowship / Board / Fellowship / Sweden / Belgium / Finland / Spain
Must have at least 3-5years of post-consultant or senior specialist experience
Eligible for consultant licensure with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS)
