ملخص الوظيفة

We are seeking a detailoriented and efficient Steward to join our team in Jeddah Saudi Arabia. As a Steward you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our food and beverage areas ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for both staff and guests.

Clean and sanitize kitchen areas dining rooms and food service equipment according to established standards and procedures
Properly handle and store cleaning chemicals and supplies
Collect and dispose of trash and recyclable materials following company guidelines
Assist in the setup and breakdown of buffets and dining areas
Maintain cleanliness of dish rooms storage areas and other backofhouse spaces
Operate dishwashing equipment and ensure proper cleaning of dishes utensils and kitchen tools
Support the culinary team by restocking clean dishes glassware and utensils
Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations
Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain a clean and organized work environment
Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor
Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and materials
Participate in deep cleaning projects as scheduled

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Previous experience as a Steward or in a similar role in the hospitality industry (preferred)
Knowledge of proper cleaning and sanitization techniques for food service areas
Familiarity with food and beverage equipment and materials
Understanding of food safety principles and hygiene standards
Proficiency in using chemical cleaning products safely and effectively
Experience with proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Basic computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office and internet use
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
Food safety certification (preferred)
Knowledge of local health and safety regulations in Jeddah Saudi Arabia (preferred)
Ability to communicate in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
