As we scale were looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to manage our financial processes including daily reconciliation and payment operations.

Job Title: Accountant

Reports to: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Location: Riyadh Almrooj Olya Main St

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

The Accountant at Tap&Eat is responsible for overseeing the companys daily financial operations including reconciling platform transactions preparing payments for restaurant partners and supporting internal financial tracking. This role is vital in ensuring financial transparency timely payouts and supporting executive decision-making with accurate financial data.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform daily reconciliation between bank accounts and Tap&Eats admin platform.

- Prepare daily payout transactions to restaurant partners using internal systems and tools.

- Coordinate with the COO for payment approvals and transaction sign-offs.

- Maintain detailed transaction records and ensure accurate entry into the accounting system.

- Monitor subscription revenue service charges and outstanding dues.

- Assist in generating monthly financial reports expense statements and forecasts.

- Support audits and ensure compliance with local tax and accounting standards.

- Liaise with legal and tax consultants as required for filing or documentation.

Qualifications

Experience:

- 2 years of experience in accounting finance or bookkeeping roles.

- Experience in startup environments payment systems or SaaS companies is a plus.

- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g. Zoho Books QuickBooks Xero).

Skills:

- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills for financial reconciliation.

- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

- Ability to handle confidential financial data with integrity.

- Good communication skills in Arabic and English.

Education:

- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.

- CPA or equivalent certification is a plus (optional).
