We are seeking a talented and experienced Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our engineering department you will play a crucial role in designing analyzing and overseeing structural systems for a wide range of projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging and innovative projects in a rapidly developing region.
- Develop and review structural designs for various construction projects ensuring compliance with local and international building codes and standards
- Perform complex structural calculations and analysis using advanced 3D modeling and design software
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects contractors and other engineers to integrate structural solutions into overall project designs
- Conduct site visits to assess existing structures and monitor construction progress
- Prepare detailed technical reports specifications and construction drawings
- Evaluate and recommend innovative structural solutions to optimize project efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Participate in project planning meetings and provide expert advice on structural engineering matters
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of team capabilities
- Stay updated on industry trends new technologies and best practices in structural engineering
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; advanced degree preferred
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent international certification
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in structural design construction and commissioning of major capital developments
- Proficiency in 3D structural analysis modeling and design software
- Strong knowledge of international and local (Saudi Arabian) building codes and standards
- Experience with MicroStation BIM and AutoCAD
- Proficiency in computer applications such as Bluebeam and Microsoft Office suite
- Knowledge of asset management principles as applied to structural systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented and analytical approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
- Innovative mindset and willingness to explore new technologies and methodologies
- Familiarity with local construction practices and regulations in Saudi Arabia is highly desirable
- Fluency in English required; proficiency in Arabic is a plus
