Reporting to the Senior Laundry Supervisor responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Consistently offers professional engaging and friendly service
- To fix and repair linen. uniforms drapery etc
- Minor mending or alterations to Guest garments
- To ensure repairs are made in a timely fashion
- To make sure workplace is orderly kept and surfaces are cleaned daily
- To assist with inventories when required
- Helps out on other duties deemed necessary within linen/laundry area
- Report to Supervisor any equipment malfunctioning or anything which may be a Health & Safety hazard
- Attend any training courses given by Housekeeping/Human Resources Department
- To make sure all Health and Safety matters are observed
Qualifications :
- High School diploma vocational training and/or 1 year work experience
- Fluency in ***local language*** essential
- Basic understanding of the English language desirable
- Ability to lift/carry requirements up to 25 lbs.
- Previous experience in luxury hotel housekeeping department desirable
