Accommodation Housekeeping Attendant
Position Purpose
The Accommodation Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness hygiene and overall upkeep of staff accommodation facilities. This role plays a key part in providing a safe comfortable and welcoming living environment for employees by following housekeeping standards hygiene procedures and Leylaty Group policies. The position supports daily accommodation operations including room preparation for move-in and move-out inspections and reporting of maintenance issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning and housekeeping duties in staff accommodation areas including rooms corridors kitchens bathrooms and common areas.
- Ensure high standards of hygiene and sanitation in line with company policies and health & safety regulations.
- Conduct regular room and area inspections and promptly report maintenance issues damages or safety concerns to the Accommodation Supervisor.
- Prepare rooms for new arrivals by changing linens setting up amenities and completing condition checks.
- Support check-in and check-out processes by ensuring rooms are cleaned inspected and ready on time.
- Properly use maintain and store cleaning tools materials and equipment.
- Monitor cleaning supplies and report low stock levels to the Supervisor.
- Follow assigned housekeeping schedules and daily task plans.
- Comply with Leylaty Group accommodation policies safety rules and security procedures.
- Provide courteous professional and respectful service to all residents while maintaining confidentiality.
- Attend and participate in training sessions related to safety hygiene and service standards.
- Assist during emergencies such as fire drills evacuations or urgent maintenance situations.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Accommodation Coordinator or Manager to ensure smooth operations.
Job Nature
- Work Environment: Primarily indoors (90%) with limited outdoor duties (10%)
- Working Days: 6 days per week
Authority & Accountability
- Executes assigned duties as per role requirements
- No financial or budget control
- No hiring supervisory or promotion authority
