We are seeking a detailoriented and analytical Cost Manager to join our team in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our organization you will be responsible for overseeing project costs ensuring financial efficiency and providing valuable insights to support decisionmaking processes.
- Develop and maintain project budgets forecasts and cost estimates
- Analyze financial data and prepare comprehensive cost reports for management review
- Collaborate with project teams to identify costsaving opportunities and optimize resource allocation
- Monitor project expenses and track variances against budgets
- Conduct regular cost audits and implement cost control measures
- Assist in the preparation of tender documents and contract negotiations
- Provide expert advice on costrelated matters to project stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients contractors and consultants
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of cost management processes and systems
- Mentor junior team members and share best practices in cost management
Qualifications :
- RICS accredited quantity surveying degree
- MRICS accreditation or actively working towards it
- Minimum of 10 years experience in a similar cost management role
- Strong financial management skills and knowledge of cost estimation techniques
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Word and Excel
- Experience with constructionspecific software such as CATO CostX and Microsoft Project
- Familiarity with current forms of contract (e.g. SBCC NEC)
- Knowledge of local construction regulations and standards in Saudi Arabia
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Goaloriented mindset with a focus on achieving project objectives
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel within the region as required
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills are a plus
