A Logistics Supervisor ensures efficient transportation warehousing and distribution of goods manages logistics teams optimizes supply chain operations maintains inventory and resolves issues to meet company goals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee and coordinate the movement of goods from suppliers to customers or between company facilities.
- Prepare and maintain accurate shipping documents including bills of lading invoices packing lists and customs documents (when applicable).
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely procurement of materials and ontime delivery of shipments.
- Investigate and resolve any logistics issues or delays including shipment discrepancies inventory shortages or damaged goods.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:
- Bachelors Degree in Logistics Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field
EXPERIENCE:
- More than 5 years of experience in logistics and or transportation coordination.
- Experience with logistics software or inventory management systems is a plus.
