BMC invites applications for the position of Receptionist at its Corporate Office to manage front desk operations with professionalism and efficiency serving as the first point of contact for all visitors staff and external stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist visitors in a courteous and professional manner.

  • Answer screen and direct incoming telephone calls and emails.

  • Maintain a tidy and organized reception area.

  • Schedule appointments and manage meeting room bookings.

  • Receive and distribute incoming correspondence and deliveries.

  • Provide general administrative support including filing data entry and document handling.

  • Coordinate with internal departments to facilitate smooth administrative operations.

  • Uphold confidentiality and ensure adherence to institutional protocols.



Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a receptionist or administrative support role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Professional appearance and conduct.
  • Prior experience in an academic or healthcare environment is a plus.
