Job Summary:
The Shang Palace Ambassador primary duty is to greet welcome and seat all guests in the Outlet take reservations and plan seating assignments. The strength and sincerity of the Shang Palace image should be reflected at all times through a friendly courteous manner and helpful attitude extending beyond guests expectation.
AsShang Palace Ambassador we rely on you to
- Must have thorough knowledge of all menu and beverage items and service procedures.
- Be alert and well informed about the hotel services and activities.
- Has a good understanding of people and genuine interest in pleasing our guests.
- Ensures all guests requests are passed to the appropriate station staff & briefs in preservice meeting all VIP guests and special requests.
- Handles all complaints and requests immediately and ensures that guests are satisfied with the service before they leave the Outlet.
- To make table reservations and thereby effectively control and maximize the flow of guests.
- To type and coordinate the printing of all restaurant menus for the Outlet Managers.
What we are Looking For:
- At least 1 year or more working experience as a hostess or guest service.
- Female well presented and groomed
- Ability to work long hours and shift
- Communicates and writes with fluency in English
- Computer Knowledge.
