Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping Manager of Western nationality (PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU ARENT FROM A WESTERN BACKGROUNDTHIS IS THE CLIENTS REQUIREMENT)to oversee our housekeeping department. The ideal candidate will possess a BICS (British Institute of Cleaning Science) certificate and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision: Lead and manage the housekeeping team ensuring effective training performance evaluation and motivation.
- Quality Control: Implement and monitor cleaning standards conducting regular inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and hygiene regulations.
- Scheduling: Create and manage work schedules for housekeeping staff ensuring adequate coverage and efficient workflow.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment coordinating purchasing and reordering as needed.
- Guest Relations: Address guest inquiries and concerns regarding housekeeping services providing exceptional customer service.
- Budget Management: Assist in budget planning and control for the housekeeping department identifying costsaving opportunities.
- Health and Safety: Ensure all housekeeping practices adhere to health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment for staff.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
- Certification: BICS certificate is required.
- Experience: Minimum of insert number years of experience in housekeeping management within a hospitality environment.
- Skills: Strong leadership and organizational skills excellent attention to detail and effective communication abilities.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with housekeeping management software and inventory control systems.
- Language: Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
