Registered Nurse Clinical Educator

Clinical Educator Registered Nurse at CARE Doha is responsible for providing orientation and inservice education for all levels of personnel and managing ongoing competency programs across all departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plans and leads General Orientation Program assuring adequate onboarding of personal including building tours; department head presentations philosophy sharing facility management and quality assurance programs. 
• Ensure all new employees have sufficient training and exposure to compliance and safety policies and procedures including but not limited to resident rights and abuse reporting confidentiality of information fire safety disaster plans infection control safety practices/toxic substances and needs of the elderly ill and handicapped. 
• Implement department specific orientation programs for new staff in collaboration with department leadership. 
• Responsible for maintaining scheduling managing and presenting ongoing training and competency programs. 
• Maintains training records and data. 
• Actively participates in Mass Casualty exercises and events.  
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

Required Skills and Knowledge: 

• Minimum of two 2 years experience in a hospital setting. 
• Experience in inservice education or skills training. 
• Excellent communication both verbally and written.  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel PowerPoint Word Outlook). 

Experience Preferred: 

• Experience on a military site working as a government subcontractor or prime contractor is preferred. 

Education Required: 

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program BSN preferred. 
• Obtain provided American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. 

Other Special Qualifications: 

• On call requirements as part of a rotation if required. 
• Must be able to read write and speak English to effectively communicate. 
• This position is unaccompanied. 
• Ability to obtain a base security clearance. 
• Must be able to relocate to Doha Qatar. 
• A valid passport from Country of Record is required and must be in your possession prior to relocation. You must maintain a current passport during your stay in Qatar.

Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicants background experience skills internal equity and alignment with geographical market data.
