- Minimum 3 years as a work preparator in a Shipyard Experience in different production areas or Candidates with 4 yearsrof working experience in Ship repair steel works jobs with good command on drawing Marking and AutoCAD
- Diploma in engineering or Higher Secondary/Equivalent
- Knowledge and experience in steel works jobs of ship repair and ship building.
- Ability to read interpret and follow method statements and procedures specifications drawings and all other discipline related project and engineering documentation
- Thorough knowledge in various types steel works steel structures. Computer proficiency and knowledge of MS Office Outlook etc.
- Familiar with the AutoCAD to produce detailed drawings
- In depth knowledge about Ship repair new building and offshore fabrication quality standards. Capability of interpreting various international codes & class rules.
- Knowledge about safety and quality standards.
Requirements

- Diploma in engineering or Higher Secondary/Equivalent

- Ability to read interpret and follow method statements and procedures specifications drawings and all other discipline related project and engineering documentation
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in maintenance works for static and rotary equipment s. Minimum qualification: ITI certification in Mechanical or a related field. Strong technical and supervisory skills. Ability to work in compliance with projects, systems, requirements, and timelines. Prior GCC/ O&M experience will be an advantage. Ability to manage a team of 15 persons, assigning tasks, monitoring, and controlling site activities, and uploading reports as guided by the engineer.
