ملخص الوظيفة
Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare surfaces such as metal concrete or wood.
Set up blasting equipment and ensure proper air pressure abrasive type and nozzle selection.
Read and interpret work orders drawings or blueprints to understand surface preparation requirements.
Select appropriate blasting media (e.g. sand grit glass beads) based on material type and desired finish.
Maintain a clean and safe work area ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a sand blaster or surface preparation technician.
Familiarity with sandblasting tools and safety procedures.
Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods.
Comfortable working in confined spaces and various weather conditions (if applicable).
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
