Fitness Manager
The Fitness Manager is responsible for overseeing the daytoday operations of the fitness club ensuring the facility provides a welcoming clean and safe environment for guests.
- Oversee the daytoday operations of the fitness club ensuring the facility is clean safe and wellmaintained.
- Monitor the usage of equipment and ensure regular maintenance and repair are completed in a timely manner.
- Implement and enforce health and safety regulations ensuring compliance with industry standards and local laws.
- Conduct regular meetings to ensure clear communication of goals expectations and company policies.
- Address guest inquiries complaints and feedback ensuring prompt resolution to maintain a high level of guest satisfaction.
- Develop and implement strategies to attract new members and retain existing members.
- Monitor member retention rates and identify areas for improvement.
- Create and manage the clubs budget tracking expenses and revenues to ensure profitability.
- Handle pricing for memberships classes and personal training services.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations including certifications and safety standards.
- Manage inventory of fitness equipment supplies and other clubrelated materials.
- Coordinate maintenance schedules and resolve facility issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Develop and execute strategies to enhance member experience and satisfaction.
- Organize special events challenges and social gatherings to increase member engagement and communitybuilding within the club.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Sports Management or related field preferred.
- Certification in Fitness or related industry qualifications is a plus (e.g. Certified Personal Trainer Group Fitness Instructor).
- Minimum of 35 years of experience in a fitness management or similar supervisory role.
- Proven ability to drive membership growth and financial success.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Proficient in fitness industry software CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problemsolving abilities and attention to detail.
