They are currently looking for an Asset Management Advisor to be based in Qatar.Duties & Responsibilities: - Advise and guide public sector water/wastewater organizations on implementing and optimizing their asset management practices.
- Develop and implement comprehensive asset management plans taking into account international best practices and local context.
- Conduct lifecycle assessments to determine optimal maintenance rehabilitation and replacement strategies for infrastructure assets.
- Analyze asset data and utilize advanced techniques (e.g. risk assessments cost analysis) to inform decisionmaking.
- Develop and recommend performance indicators and metrics to track the effectiveness of asset management strategies.
- Facilitate training and knowledge sharing sessions to build capacity within client organizations.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in asset management principles and technologies.
Qualification & Requirements:- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from a reputable university in North America Western Europe or Australia.
- Accredited membership with the Institute of Asset Management (IAM).
- Chartered Engineer (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 30 years of experience in the water/wastewater industry specifically within the public sector.
- Proven experience in implementing international asset management best practices.
- Strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities related to asset management in the GCC region.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and presentation skills.
