If databases are your domain and uptime is your priority this role is designed for you. Were looking for a seasoned Database Administrator who can ensure the smooth performance security and availability of our critical databases and applications.

Your expertise will keep our systems running efficiently from installations and upgrades to security measures and disaster recovery planning.

What Youll Be Doing:

Install upgrade migrate and manage databases (Oracle SQL Server MySQL and opensource databases).
Handle patching performance monitoring and proactive database security measures.
Maintain high availability of database instances as per Tier/SLA requirements.
Ensure compliance with IT security policies and prevent unauthorized database access.
Plan and implement security measures to protect data and applications.
Set up disaster recovery (DR) sites for ERP and critical systems.
Integrate applications like EBS Oracle Retail Payment solutions and CRM systems.
Install and configure Oracle Apex and Enterprise Command Centre.
Work with Oracle RAC ASM Data Guard and multinode setups.
Troubleshoot and escalate issues to vendors (Oracle Support etc..
Engage in database migration projects and contribute to cloud platform strategies.

Requirements

To be considered for this role you need to meet the following criteria:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
810 years of experience as a Database Analyst/Administrator.
Handson experience with database migrations and upgrades.
Expertise in Oracle RAC ASM load balancing multinode setups and Data Guard.
Experience with cloud computing and DatabaseasaService (DBaaS).
Certifications:

Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) 12c / 19c
Oracle RAC Administration
Microsoft Certified Database Administrator
