Job Overview

American International University (AIU) Kuwait City is seeking FullTime Faculty for its Biomedical Engineering program within the School of Engineering and Computing for theacademic year.

The ideal candidate is a forwardthinking educator and active member of the biomedical engineering field capable of delivering engaging undergraduate instruction in areas such as biomedical signal processing instrumentation and medical imaging. Candidates should be passionate about teaching mentoring and curriculum development in a diverse studentcentered environment.

Responsibilities

Teach undergraduate courses in:
- Biomedical Signals and Systems
- Biomedical Instrumentation
- Medical Imaging
Supervise and mentor undergraduate student projects
Engage in research and scholarly activity aligned with biomedical engineering
Contribute to curriculum development and academic advising
Participate in departmental school and university service
Foster an inclusive and collaborative learning environment

Qualifications

Masters or PhD in Biomedical Engineering or a closely related field
Strong communication skills in English (instruction is in English)
Demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence and student success
Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse faculty and student body
Preferred: Universitylevel teaching experience and an active research agenda
