American International University (AIU) is looking for dynamic and engaged Parttime or Fulltime faculty members for its School of Engineering and Computing.

AIU invites applicants for Parttime or Fulltime Faculty appointments with expertise in Civil Engineering.

Qualifications:

• Masters or PhD degreein Civil Engineering or related field
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Commitment to excellence in teaching and scholarship
  
• Ability and willingness to work collaboratively with faculty from a variety of disciplines.
  

The ideal candidate is an innovative professional who leverages professional trends and technologies to deliver relevant classroom experiences. The successful candidate will be a leader and current active member of the Civil Engineering field. The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses in:

• Energy Efficient and Green Buildings3 Energy Emissions and Environmental Design
• Senior Design Projects Environmental Design
• Sustainability Assessment and management
  

The candidate will possess the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures. The candidate will also be expected to develop research programs supervise undergraduate students and make contributions to both school and university service. Evidence of a strong commitment to both teaching and research is required.

Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to excellencein teaching at the undergraduate level related to their specific expertise within the professional Civil Engineering curriculum. Also we expect to play an active role in the leadership in undergraduate programs curriculum development mentoring and startups.
