Assistant Resident Engineer - Structures Cable Stay Bridges

We are seeking a detailoriented and analytical Assistant Resident Engineer Structures specializing in Cable Stay Bridges to join our team in Manama this role you will play a crucial part in overseeing the construction and maintenance of cablestayed bridges ensuring structural integrity and project success.

• Assist the Resident Engineer in daily supervision of cablestayed bridge construction activities
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards
• Review and analyze technical drawings specifications and other project documents
• Coordinate with contractors subcontractors and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues
• Prepare detailed technical reports on construction progress quality control and structural integrity
• Monitor project schedules and budgets identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategies
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and environmental standards throughout the construction process
• Collaborate with the design team to address any fieldrelated design modifications
• Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates to senior management
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians on cablestayed bridge construction techniques

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering; Masters degree preferred
• Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on cablestayed bridges
• Relevant experience in supervising cable stay bridges marine bridges and grade separated junctions.
• Proven experience in construction site supervision
• Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles and cablestayed bridge design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software
• Familiarity with project management tools and techniques
• Excellent technical report writing and problemsolving skills
• Indepth understanding of cablestayed bridge construction techniques and structural integrity assessment
• Experience with quality control processes in bridge construction
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced construction environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams
• Willingness to work onsite in Manama Bahrain and travel as required
