Alzayani Investments is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant Intern to join our finance team. The position offers an excellent opportunity for an aspiring finance professional to gain hands-on experience within a prestigious organisation. The successful candidate will support our finance department in daily accounting tasks contributing to our continued success while developing essential industry skills.

Responsibilities:

Assist with the management of accounts payable and receivable processes.
Support the finance team in preparing bank reconciliations and financial statements.
Help with the preparation and posting of journal entries to ensure accurate financial records.
Contribute to the month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Maintain and organise financial documents both physical and digital.
Assist in data entry verification and the maintenance of the general ledger.
Perform administrative and other ad-hoc tasks as required by the finance team.

Qualifications:

Recently completed a degree in Accounting Finance or a related business field.
A strong foundational understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with strong skills in MS Excel.
Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A proactive attitude with an eagerness to learn and contribute to the team.
