Responsibilities
Supervise the maintenance overhaul and installation of various industrial valves including:
Butterfly Valves
Globe Valves (e.g. ST21 ST22)
Gate Valves (e.g. Block 20 ST21 ST22)
Ensure proper dismantling inspection cleaning lapping re-assembly and functional testing of valves.
Identify component wear damage and the need for replacement (seals seats stems discs packing etc.).
Interpret valve data sheets P&IDs isometrics and OEM manuals.
Allocate work to technicians and fitters; ensure work is completed as per schedule.
Conduct pressure testing seat leakage testing and stroke checks as required.
Ensure calibration and correct operation of valve testing tools and equipment.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma / ITI in Mechanical Engineering or relevant trade.
Minimum 57 years experience in valve maintenance and repair.
Strong experience in:
Butterfly Valve maintenance (Block 20)
Globe/Gate Valve maintenance (Block 20 ST21 ST22)
Experience in oil & gas petrochemical refinery shutdown or industrial maintenance.
