Position Purpose
We are looking for a Procurement Category Specialist Food to join our Procurement team. The ideal candidate will manage the day-to-day operations of assigned food categories ensure efficient processing of purchase orders and maintain strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage allocated food categories effectively.

Process purchase orders accurately and efficiently in line with procurement policies and procedures.

Maintain open communication with suppliers store managers and internal teams to resolve issues promptly.

Ensure full compliance with procurement guidelines and avoid unnecessary cash/card purchases.

Collaborate with store managers to set and monitor par levels and food stock requirements.
-
Support in executing RFQs and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
-
Assist with supplier challenges and improve procurement processes.
-
Achieve savings in line with annual KPIs and procurement strategies.
-
Complete month-end procurement duties accurately and on time.

Provide regular updates and highlight any concerns to the Procurement Lead Food.

Qualifications & Skills:

Background in Procurement or Supply Chain is preferred

Strong communication and negotiation skills

Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environmen
