Time Out Doha is looking for a social savvy Social Media Editor to lead its social content across multiple platforms. Based in Doha the ideal candidate is experienced in all aspects of social media content creation. Applicants should be dialled into the citys going-out scene with a strong understanding of local preferences the hottest happenings in town and what goes into creating scroll-stopping content.
Requirements
- Create package and publish daily content across all brand social media accounts.
- Match content to the right platform and publish it with creativity accuracy and strong editorial judgement across Instagram Facebook and X (Twitter). Knowledge of TikTok is also useful.
- Plan and maintain a forward-looking social calendar in collaboration with the Editor aligned with the wider editorial strategy and content schedule.
- Guarantee that every piece of social content reflects Time Outs editorial standards voice and brand guidelines.
- Develop and refine a social media strategy that reaches engages and grows Time Out Dohas social audience.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends and platform developments identifying new opportunities for Time Out Doha to activate and innovate.
- Hit posting targets and help to produce monthly reports.

- Confidence going out and about shooting video on smartphones to create killer social content.
- Social media reporting experience.

- Languages: Fluent in written and spoken English Arabic desirable.
