Main Responsibilities
A. Sales & Business Development
Develop and implement strategic action plans to achieve the resorts room F&B MICE and ancillary revenue targets.
Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts maintaining high-level relationships with corporate clients travel agencies tour operators event planners and government institutions.
Identify new business opportunities and ensure continuous market penetration locally nationally and internationally.
Conduct regular sales calls prospecting visits and client meetings to strengthen the Sofitel brand presence.
Prepare and follow up on proposals contracts and negotiations in line with Accor commercial policies.
B. Market Intelligence
Monitor competitor activities market trends travel patterns and seasonal demands relevant to Agadir and Moroccan tourism.
Provide periodic reports forecasts and strategic recommendations to the DOSM.
Ensure alignment with Accor global sales strategies and participate in regional sales initiatives.
C. MICE & Events Sales
Handle complex MICE requests from inquiry to contract signature.
Coordinate with the Events Banqueting and Operations teams to ensure client expectations are met.
Support major resort events conferences and corporate functions.
D. Client Relationship Management
Maintain high customer satisfaction levels by delivering personalized anticipatory service.
Host site inspections fam trips and VIP visits.
Ensure compliance with Accors CRM system (Opera / Delphi / Salesforce) and maintain accurate account profiles.
E. Collaboration & Internal Communication
Work closely with Revenue Management to optimize rates availability and promotional offers.
Coordinate with Marketing on promotional campaigns content and brand activations.
Mentor junior sales staff and support their development.
F. Administrative & Reporting
Prepare weekly monthly and quarterly sales reports.
Ensure accurate documentation of contracts agreements and client correspondence.
Maintain confidentiality of commercial and client information.
Qualifications :
Required Qualifications & Competencies
Education
Bachelors degree in Business Hospitality Management or related field.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of sales experience in luxury hospitality ideally with Accor or a 5-star international hotel chain.
Proven track record in MICE corporate and leisure segments.
Experience in Moroccan tourism markets is an asset.
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of Opera PMS Delphi/Amadeus and Accor sales tools.
Excellent negotiation presentation and reporting skills.
Strong financial and commercial acumen.
Languages
Fluent French and English (written and spoken).
Arabic highly preferred.
Additional languages (German Spanish) are an advantage for the Agadir market.
