The opportunity
To build You as a responsible for Center of Excellence - Local Business Process Owners have overall responsibility for all Center of Excellence related topics in their respective unit and represent the Center of Excellence interests of their unit towards the different functions of the Center of Excellence. Center of Excellence Key Users in one unit functionally report to their Center of Excellence - Local Business Process Owner.
How youll make an impact
Collecting improvement ideas from Center of Excellence Key Users in their unit and working with the Business Unit to phrase the demand.
Drive identification and elimination of template deviations within their unit.
Running local Center of Excellence projects (e.g. rolling out new functionalities) in alignment with the Center of Excellence .
Ensure staffing of Center of Excellence Key Users (local Center of Excellence subject matter experts).
Manage Center of Excellence Key Users within the unit.
Manage/inform within the unit on changes and new functionalities.
Work with Center of Excellence Service Delivery organization for defect resolution.
Manage local user acceptance testing for new functionality and fixes.
Organize on demand training and knowledge management within the unit.
With Center of Excellence Key Users maintain documentation and internal work instructions.
Strong understanding of the MTS (Make-to-Stock) operating model and its application in process optimization.
Experience in conducting Value Stream Mapping and leading Kaizen events.
Certification or formal training in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher preferred).
Plan and lead Kaizen events to support continuous improvement initiatives aligned with the MTS (Make-to-Stock) operating model.
Facilitate Value Stream Mapping sessions to identify waste and optimize end-to-end processes.
Integrate Lean Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements and operational efficiency.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.

Your background
A bachelors degree in engineering Business Information Systems or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
5 years of experience in the local unit.
Cross-functional understanding of business processes in the local unit.
Experience with Center of Excellence and knowledge of the Hitachi Energy Center of Excellence template.
Well connected with the local management team.
Strong delivery focus to ensure effective solutions that drive business values.
Leadership and change management skills to drive the adaptation of global solutions in the local unit.
Experienced representing the interests and requirements of the business.
Ability to generate new ideas and challenge status quo.
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
